A little bit more about Richard
I have held roles as diverse as EVP, CEO and Chairman, however my passion is for working with organisations and their leaders.
I have been consulting to organisations for over 35 years, and coaching executives for more than 22 years. I have had a lifetime approach to my own development, which includes both formal development through an MBA and Systemic Organisational Psychotherapy and informal development through my own reflections, writings and development expereinces.
Currently I live in Dartmoor, with my family, and dog. I love being out on the Moor and I am close enough to my boat to enjoy frequent trips, either sailing or working on it!
What my clients say....
On executive coaching:
"Great balance of wisdom, guiding and support, and helping guide the direction. Thank you Richard."
"Understood my challenge quickly and could provide both immediate tools as well as provocation. Love the session!"
"Richard is able to have an impact on my behaviours in a short period of time and although we're just at the start of our journey, I feel very energised by it. Richard is very fast at grasping the situations, decoding the unsaid and asking the right simple questions that make me think differently; he's also very pragmatic in his advice and provides 'try that next time' suggestions that are practical and easy to start"
"I really like where we started - I'm looking forward to upping my planning and communicating more effectively with the other directors."
On mentoring and supervision:
"Richard got to the heart of my issue in this one session. He is a great listener and created a safe space for me to explore. This is such a valuable gift ..... for coaches. I can’t say enough great things about Richard and the importance of providing these kinds of coach mentoring sessions."
Other services
In addition to working with organisational clients, I do have a limited number of mentoring and supervisory arrangements with other professionals. I am able to draw upon a wide range of resources and experiences and my experience as a psychotherapist does allow me to help identify development opportunities for other professionals.
